Connect Warp

Add looot to Warp as a Streamable HTTP MCP server and sign in with OAuth.

WarpNot tested by hand yet

MCP over Streamable HTTP at https://api.looot.ai/mcp

Warp is a terminal with an agent. It takes MCP servers as a command or as a URL.

Before you start you need a looot account. The runs you make spend the organization’s balance, so top up before your first paid run. See Before your first run.

Steps

  1. Open Warp’s MCP servers page in settings and click Add.
  2. Add a Streamable HTTP or SSE Server (URL) with the config below.
  3. Start the server. Warp opens the browser for the OAuth sign-in and stores the credentials.
{
  "looot": {
    "url": "https://api.looot.ai/mcp"
  }
}

The server URL is https://api.looot.ai/mcp.

Sign-in

Warp completes the OAuth flow in a browser and stores the credentials. You pick the organization to bill on looot.ai. One limit from Warp’s docs: a cloud agent cannot use a URL server that needs OAuth and has no Authorization header. For cloud agents, use a header token from Settings or Warp’s managed MCP install.

Check it works

Ask Warp to call balance or catalog_overview. Both are free. A working connection answers with your available balance, or the catalog’s categories and job counts.

A first prompt to try

Ask looot for my balance, then search its catalog for a tool that finds a work email from a name and company domain, and show me the price before running anything.

Troubleshooting

  • Warp’s exact settings menu names change; follow the linked page if a label differs.
  • Cloud agents fail with a 401: see the limit above.
  • Server stuck on “starting”: check you used the URL type and not the command type.
  • Still stuck: see Troubleshooting.

What you see when you connect

If the client uses browser sign-in, it opens looot.ai and shows the consent page: which organization to bill, which scopes to grant and how long to stay connected. See The consent page.
