Connect Le Chat
Add looot as a custom MCP connector in Mistral's Le Chat and sign in with the browser.
Le ChatNot tested by hand yet
MCP over Streamable HTTP at https://api.looot.ai/mcp
Le Chat is Mistral’s assistant. It reaches looot through a custom MCP connector, which Mistral does not review, so only connect servers you trust.
Before you start you need a looot account. The runs you make spend the organization’s balance, so top up before your first paid run. See Before your first run.
Steps
- In Le Chat, open Intelligence, then Connectors, and click + Add Connector.
- Switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab.
- Enter a connector name with no spaces or special characters, such as
looot, and the server URLhttps://api.looot.ai/mcp. The description is optional. - Click Connect. Le Chat detects the authentication method on its own and opens the sign-in.
The server URL is https://api.looot.ai/mcp.
Sign-in
Browser sign-in works. The client opens looot.ai, you pick the organization to bill and click Connect. No token to copy. Le Chat supports OAuth 2.1, bearer tokens and no auth; looot uses OAuth.
Check it works
Ask Le Chat to call balance or catalog_overview. Both are free. A working connection answers
with your available balance, or the catalog’s categories and job counts.
A first prompt to try
Ask looot for my balance, then search its catalog for a tool that finds a work email from a name and company domain, and show me the price before running anything.
Troubleshooting
- Name rejected: use letters and digits only, no spaces.
- The URL must be HTTPS with a valid certificate and the full path
/mcp, not justhttps://api.looot.ai. - Menu names move; if you cannot find Connectors, follow the linked Mistral page.
- Still stuck: see Troubleshooting.
What you see when you connect
If the client uses browser sign-in, it opens looot.ai and shows the consent page: which organization to bill, which scopes to grant and how long to stay connected. See The consent page.
