Connect Replit
Add looot as a remote MCP server in Replit Agent through the Integrations pane.
ReplitNot tested by hand yet
MCP over Streamable HTTP at https://api.looot.ai/mcp
Replit Agent can use remote MCP servers. You add one from the Integrations pane, then authorize it in the Project Editor. Replit scans MCP traffic and blocks suspicious tools.
Before you start you need a looot account. The runs you make spend the organization’s balance, so top up before your first paid run. See Before your first run.
Steps
- Open the Integrations pane and find Connect via MCP.
- Use the form to generate an install link. Set the display name to
loootand the base URL tohttps://api.looot.ai/mcp. - Open the link. Choose OAuth Dynamic Client Registration as the authentication method.
- When the Project Editor asks you to authorize the connection, sign in on looot.ai and click Connect.
The server URL is https://api.looot.ai/mcp.
Sign-in
Browser sign-in works. The client opens looot.ai, you pick the organization to bill and click Connect. No token to copy. Replit can also send a static header; the link then carries an Authorization: Bearer header with an agent token from Settings. That token sits in the link, so use OAuth.
Check it works
Ask Replit to call balance or catalog_overview. Both are free. A working connection answers
with your available balance, or the catalog’s categories and job counts.
A first prompt to try
Ask looot for my balance, then search its catalog for a tool that finds a work email from a name and company domain, and show me the price before running anything.
Troubleshooting
- The install link is the base64 of a small JSON object with
displayName, baseUrland optionalheaders. If the form fails, checkbaseUrlis exactlyhttps://api.looot.ai/mcp. - If Replit blocks a tool, it flagged it in its security scan. Read the message before overriding.
- Still stuck: see Troubleshooting.
What you see when you connect
If the client uses browser sign-in, it opens looot.ai and shows the consent page: which organization to bill, which scopes to grant and how long to stay connected. See The consent page.
