Connect v0

Add looot as a custom MCP server in v0 and sign in with OAuth.

v0Not tested by hand yet

MCP over Streamable HTTP at https://api.looot.ai/mcp

v0 is Vercel’s app builder. MCP servers give v0 tools to use while it generates. Vercel warns that remote MCP can raise per-message cost, so review which tools you enable.

Before you start you need a looot account. The runs you make spend the organization’s balance, so top up before your first paid run. See Before your first run.

Steps

  1. Open the + menu in the prompt form and select MCPs.
  2. Choose to configure a server manually (not a preset).
  3. Enter the name looot and the server URL https://api.looot.ai/mcp.
  4. Set authentication to OAuth and complete the sign-in.

The server URL is https://api.looot.ai/mcp.

Sign-in

Browser sign-in works. The client opens looot.ai, you pick the organization to bill and click Connect. No token to copy. v0 also offers Bearer Token and Custom Headers, which take an agent token from Settings.

Check it works

Ask v0 to call balance or catalog_overview. Both are free. A working connection answers with your available balance, or the catalog’s categories and job counts.

A first prompt to try

Ask looot for my balance, then search its catalog for a tool that finds a work email from a name and company domain, and show me the price before running anything.

Troubleshooting

  • Vercel’s page does not list exact field names, so labels may differ slightly from the steps above. The linked page wins.
  • If OAuth fails, try Bearer Token with an agent token as a fallback.
  • Still stuck: see Troubleshooting.

What you see when you connect

If the client uses browser sign-in, it opens looot.ai and shows the consent page: which organization to bill, which scopes to grant and how long to stay connected. See The consent page.
