Search WeChat (all types)
TikHub tool tikhub-api-wechat-search-fetch-search on looot: input fields, $0.01 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.
Runs a WeChat Search (Sou Yi Sou) query. Send keyword (1 to 100 characters) and optional business_type, sort and publish_time; only all, account, article, video and sticker currently return results. To page, pass cursor from the previous response, since offset alone does not work. Set a 30 second timeout.

The rest (underline / encyclopedia / live_stream / comment / listen / news / photos / book / moments / image / mini_game / weixin_index / ai_search) are gated server-side per account & region and currently always come back empty (count=0 plus a no_more message, still billed as a normal call). Use the categories field of an all search for the authoritative per-account tab l…. Example: “account” |
cursor |
string | no | Pagination cursor: leave empty for the first page; for the next page pass back the cursor returned in the previous response |
keyword |
string | yes | Search keyword (1-100 chars). Example: “人民日报” |
offset |
integer | no | Pass 0 for the first page; use cursor to paginate (offset alone does not work, it returns the first page every time) |
publish_time |
string | no | Publish time (result page ‘time’ dropdown, common): all/0 / day/1 / week/2 / half_year/3; string key or integer. Example: “week” |
raw |
boolean | no | True=raw search response; False=simplified parsed structure |
sort |
string | no | Sort (result page ‘sort’ dropdown, common to all verticals): default/0 (relevance) / latest/1 (newest) / hot/2 (most liked); string key or integer. Example: “hot” |
Output
Shape of the run’s result, the expected shape, not yet checked against real answers:
{ code, data: { offset, keyword, results: { lang, offset, isDivide, direction, byStepText, isHomePage, pageNumber, loadingText, continueFlag, isBoxCardStyle, isAutoPlayVideo, enableQuestionClosely, forbidRefreshLocation }, debug_id, debug_info, business_type, continue_flag }, docs, time, params: { raw, sort, cursor, offset, keyword, publish_time, business_type }, router, message, support, cache_url, time_zone, message_zh, request_id, time_stamp, cache_message, cache_message_zh }
Run it
Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.
