Google Scholar Cite API returns citation information for scholarly articles. It provides various citation formats (MLA, APA, Chicago, Harvard, Vancouver) and links to citation management tools. Cross-linking: The data_cid parameter accepts citation IDs from Google Scholar search results. You can obtain these IDs from the inline_links.cited_by.cites_id field in Google Scholar API organic results.

Run it
Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.
