SearchAPI.io - Google Related Questions API

SearchAPI.io tool searchapi-io-google-related-questions on looot: input fields, $0.004 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Expand People Also Ask questions from Google Search to get detailed answers and discover more related questions. How it works: Use the next_page_token from Google Search API’s related_questions array to fetch expanded answers. Pagination: Each related question in the response includes its own next_page_token (when available) that can be used to fetch further expanded questions via recursive calls to this API. Cross-linking: This API uses tokens from the Google Search API. The next_page_token contains embedded localization settings from the original search.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
engine string no Fixed to “google_related_questions” for this endpoint. Example: “google_related_questions”
link string no
next_page_token string yes

Output

The run’s result holds the provider’s answer. Signed in, looot inspect searchapi-io-google-related-questions prints its fields.

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-google-related-questions","input":{"next_page_token":"<next_page_token>","engine":"google_related_questions"},"wait":30}'
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
