Inputs
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
engine |
string | no | Fixed to “gemini” for this endpoint. Example: “gemini” |
q |
string | yes |
Output
Shape of the run’s result, checked against 2 real answers:
{ markdown, text_blocks: { type, items: { type, answer, reference_indexes: integer[] }[], answer, reference_indexes: integer[] }[], reference_links: { link, rank, index, title, source, favicon, snippet }[], search_metadata: { id, status, html_url, json_url, created_at, request_url, total_time_taken, parsing_time_taken, request_time_taken }, response_metadata: { model, language, detected_location, conversation_token }, search_parameters: { q, engine } }
Run it
Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.
Example input with placeholder values:
