SearchAPI.io - Apple Maps Places API

SearchAPI.io tool searchapi-io-apple-maps-places on looot: input fields, $0.004 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Look up full Apple Maps place details for one or more places in a single batch request. Each place comes back with its name, category, address, phone number, website, ratings, reviews, opening hours, amenities, photos, and GPS coordinates in JSON format. Cross-linking: Pass the place_id values returned by the Apple Maps API as the place_ids parameter. Identifiers Apple can’t resolve are echoed back in not_found_places, so place_results may contain fewer places than requested.

  • Tool id: searchapi-io-apple-maps-places
  • Provider: SearchAPI.io
  • Job: Apple maps places search (search.apple-maps-places)
  • Price: $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
country string no
engine string no Fixed to “apple_maps_places” for this endpoint. Example: “apple_maps_places”
lang string no
place_ids string yes

Output

The run’s result holds the provider’s answer. Signed in, looot inspect searchapi-io-apple-maps-places prints its fields.

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
