Fetch a full Apple Maps editorial guide (curated place collection) in JSON format: the guide’s title, description, publisher, and cover photos, plus every member place with full details, the guide’s editorial review snippet for it, and a link to the publisher’s own article. Cross-linking: Pass a guide_id value from the guide_results of the Apple Maps API. The member places carry place_id values usable with the other Apple Maps APIs.

  • Tool id: searchapi-io-apple-maps-guides
  • Provider: SearchAPI.io
  • Job: Apple maps guides search (search.apple-maps-guides)
  • Price: $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
country string no
engine string no Fixed to “apple_maps_guides” for this endpoint. Example: “apple_maps_guides”
guide_id string yes
lang string no

Output

The run’s result holds the provider’s answer. Signed in, looot inspect searchapi-io-apple-maps-guides prints its fields.

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-apple-maps-guides","input":{"guide_id":"<guide_id>","engine":"apple_maps_guides"},"wait":30}'
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
