Scrape Creators API / Comments

ScrapeCreators tool scrapecreators-tiktok-video-comments on looot: input fields, $0.00188 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Fetches comments on a TikTok video by URL, useful for reading audience reactions, replies, and engagement. Returns comments, an array where each comment includes text, digg_count (likes), reply_comment_total, create_time, and a user object with the commenter’s nickname and unique_id; also returns total comment count. Paginate with cursor from the previous response.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
cursor number no
trim boolean no
url string yes

Output

Shape of the run’s result, the expected shape, not yet checked against real answers:

{ extra: { now, api_debug_info, fatal_item_ids }, total, cursor, log_pb: { impr_id }, success, comments: { cid, aweme_id, author_pin, digg_count, image_list, label_list: unknown[], create_time, fold_status, collect_stat, comment_language, is_author_digged, allow_download_photo, comment_post_item_ids, is_comment_translatable, is_high_purchase_intent }[], has_more, top_gifts, status_msg, reply_style, status_code, credits_charged, credits_remaining, alias_comment_deleted, has_filtered_comments }

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"scrapecreators-tiktok-video-comments","input":{"url":"https://example.com"},"wait":30}'
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    "Idempotency-Key": crypto.randomUUID(),
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    endpointId: "scrapecreators-tiktok-video-comments",
    input: {
      url: "https://example.com",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
import os
import uuid

import requests

response = requests.post(
    "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs",
    headers={
        "Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['LOOOT_TOKEN']}",
        "Idempotency-Key": str(uuid.uuid4()),
    },
    json={
        "endpointId": "scrapecreators-tiktok-video-comments",
        "input": {
            "url": "https://example.com",
        },
        "wait": 30,
    },
    timeout=90,
)
run = response.json()
print(run["status"], run.get("result"))

To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send job:tiktok.video.comments as endpointId; see the job page.
