Prospeo / Search companies by filters

Prospeo tool prospeo-search-company on looot: input fields, $0.039 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Filter a 30M+ company database. 1 credit per request that returns >=1 result, up to 25 results/page; free if the identical result set was already returned within 30 days.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
filters object yes Prospeo filters (prospeo.io/api-docs/filters-documentation). Company filters sit under “company”, e.g. {“company”: {“websites”: {“include”: [“stripe.com”]}, “names”: {“include”: [“Stripe”]}}}; also company_industry {include, exclude}, company_location_search {include, exclude}, company_headcount_range [“51-100”, …], company_funding {stage, funding_date, last_funding, total_funding}. Returns up to 25 per page; 1 credit per page with results, a no-results search (400 NO_RESULTS) is not billed.
page integer no

Output

Shape of the run’s result, the expected shape, not yet checked against real answers:

{ free, error, results: { company: { name, domain, founded, website, industry, location: { ... }, company_id, description, linkedin_url, employee_count } }[], pagination: { per_page, total_page, total_count, current_page } }

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"prospeo-search-company","input":{"filters":{"company":{"websites":{"include":["stripe.com"]}}}},"wait":30}'
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
