LeadMagic / Find a work email from a name and domain

LeadMagic tool leadmagic-people-email-finder on looot: input fields, $0.0198 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Finds a person’s work email. Send first_name and last_name (or full_name), plus domain or company_name. Returns email and status, the mail server (mx_record, mx_provider) and company details such as company_name, company_industry and company_size. Send a name (first_name and last_name, or full_name) plus domain or company_name.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
company_name string no Company name (required if domain not provided)
domain string no Company domain name (required if company_name not provided). Example: “example.com”
first_name string no First name of the person (optional if full_name provided).
full_name string no Full name of the person (alternative to first_name + last_name)
last_name string no Last name of the person (optional).

Output

Shape of the run’s result, checked against 2 real answers:

{ email, domain, has_mx, status, message, last_name, mx_record, first_name, mx_gateway, mx_provider, company_name, company_size, company_type, processed_at, company_founded, mx_gateway_type, mx_records_full: unknown[], company_industry, company_location: { geo, name, metro, region, country, locality, continent, postal_code, address_line_2, street_address }, credits_consumed, pipeline_version, company_linkedin_id, company_twitter_url, mx_security_gateway, company_facebook_url, company_linkedin_url, validation_path_code }

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"leadmagic-people-email-finder","input":{"domain":"example.com","last_name":"Doe","first_name":"Jane"},"wait":30}'
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    "Idempotency-Key": crypto.randomUUID(),
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    endpointId: "leadmagic-people-email-finder",
    input: {
      domain: "example.com",
      last_name: "Doe",
      first_name: "Jane",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);

response = requests.post(
    "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs",

        "Idempotency-Key": str(uuid.uuid4()),
    },
    json={

    timeout=90,

To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send job:people.email.find as endpointId; see the job page.
