Inputs
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
ignoreQueryParameters |
boolean | no | Do not return URLs with query parameters |
includeSubdomains |
boolean | no | Include subdomains of the website |
limit |
integer | no | Maximum number of links to return. Example: 10 |
search |
string | no | Search query to use for mapping. During the Alpha phase, the ‘smart’ part of the search functionality is limited to 500 search results. However, if map finds more results, there is no limit applied. |
sitemap |
string | no | Sitemap mode when mapping. If you set it to skip, the sitemap won’t be used to find URLs. If you set it to only, only URLs that are in the sitemap will be returned. By default (include), the sitemap and other methods will be used together to find URLs. |
timeout |
integer | no | Timeout in milliseconds. There is no timeout by default. |
url |
string | yes | The base URL to start crawling from |
Output
Shape of the run’s result, checked against 3 real answers:
{ id, links: { url, title, description }[], success }
Run it
Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.
Example input with placeholder values:
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
-d '{"endpointId":"firecrawl-map","input":{"url":"https://example.com","limit":10},"wait":30}'const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
