DataForSEO / Get Google organic results (advanced)

DataForSEO tool dataforseo-serp-google-organic-live-advanced on looot: input fields, $0.002 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Returns Google’s organic results for a keyword, live: the full result page with snippets, featured blocks and ads. Send tasks, a list of task objects each with keyword, location_name and language_code.

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
tasks array yes one task object per request; DataForSEO takes an array at the body root

Output

Shape of the run’s result, checked against 2 real answers:

{ cost, time, tasks: { id, cost, data: { os, se, api, device, keyword, se_type, function, language_code, location_name }, path: string[], time, result: { type, items: { ... }[], spell: { ... }, keyword, datetime, check_url, se_domain, item_types: string[], items_count, pages_count, language_code, location_code, refinement_chips, se_results_count }[], status_code, result_count, status_message }[], verion, version, status_code, tasks_count, tasks_error, status_message }

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.

Example input with placeholder values:

curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"dataforseo-serp-google-organic-live-advanced","input":{"tasks":[{"keyword":"example keyword","language_code":"en","location_name":"<location_name>"}]},"wait":30}'
