DataForSEO / Get a backlink summary for a domain

DataForSEO tool dataforseo-backlinks-summary-live-ai on looot: input fields, $0.024 per call, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.

Returns a backlink overview for a domain, subdomain or page. Send target; include_subdomains and exclude_internal_backlinks refine it. Returns backlinks, backlinks_spam_score, broken_backlinks, broken_pages and crawled_pages.

Inputs

target string yes domain, subdomain or webpage to get backlinks for required field a domain or a subdomain should be specified without https:// and www. a page should be specified with absolute URL (including http:// or https://). Example: “example.com”

Run it

Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.
