Bright Data / Get a TikTok profile
Bright Data tool brightdata-tiktok-profile on looot: input fields, $0.0015 per result, output shape, and code to run it with curl, JavaScript or Python.
Returns a TikTok profile from its URL (tiktok.com/@{username}) with Bright Data’s scraper. Send input, a list of objects with url; a job run takes url instead. Returns one record per URL: nickname, biography, followers, following, likes, video count, verified flag, engagement rates and top videos. Slow targets can take a few minutes.
- Tool id:
brightdata-tiktok-profile - Provider: Bright Data
- Job: Get a TikTok profile and its stats (
tiktok.user.profile) - Price: $0.0015 per result. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
input |
array | yes | Records to collect, one object per URL |
format |
string | no | Always json |
Output
Shape of the run’s result, the expected shape, not yet checked against real answers:
{ snapshot_id } | [ { id, ftc, url, input, likes, secu_id, bio_link, category, nickname, relation, biography, followers, following, signature, timestamp, account_id, digg_count, is_private, like_count, top_videos, create_time, is_verified, pinned_posts, videos_count, is_ad_virtual, open_favorite, predicted_lang, top_posts_data, comment_setting, profile_pic_url } ]
Run it
Every call needs your API token in LOOOT_TOKEN; Sign in shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With wait: 30 the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll GET /v1/runs/<runId>.
Example input with placeholder values:
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
-d '{"endpointId":"brightdata-tiktok-profile","input":{"input":[]},"wait":30}'const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
