The Walmart Product API allows you to retrieve detailed product information from Walmart, including pricing, availability, specifications, reviews, and more. **Cross-linking**: The `product_id` parameter accepts Walmart product IDs. You can obtain these IDs from the Walmart Search API results or from Walmart product URLs (the numeric part after `/ip/` in the URL).

- **Tool id:** `searchapi-io-walmart-product`
- **Provider:** [SearchAPI.io](/providers/searchapi-io)
- **Job:** [Walmart product search](/reference/jobs/search-walmart-product) (`search.walmart-product`)
- **Price:** $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `engine` | string | no | Fixed to "walmart_product" for this endpoint. Example: "walmart_product" |
| `product_id` | string | yes |   |
| `store_id` | string | no |   |

## Output

Shape of the run's `result`, checked against 1 real answer:

```txt
{ product: { id, upc, link, aisle, brand: { link, name }, price, title, badges: { key, text, query }[], images: { id, url }[], rating, reviews, store_id, warnings: { name, value }[], condition, seller_id, categories: { link, name }[], highlights: { name, value, thumbnail }[], main_image, product_id, description, fulfillment: { shipping: { ... } }, seller_name, max_quantity, min_quantity, original_price, specifications: { name, value }[], extracted_price, condition_offers: { id, price, condition, availability, extracted_price }[], additional_services: { type, title, groups: { ... }[], subtitle ... ...
```

The shape is cut here. Signed in, `looot inspect searchapi-io-walmart-product` prints all of it.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

<CodeGroup>

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-walmart-product","input":{"product_id":"<product_id>","engine":"walmart_product"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
```

```python Python
run = response.json()
To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send `job:search.walmart-product` as `endpointId`; see [the job page](/reference/jobs/search-walmart-product).
