The TikTok Ads Library API provides programmatic access to search and analyze advertisements on TikTok's platform. This API allows you to search ads by keywords or advertiser IDs, filter by countries and date ranges, and retrieve detailed information about ad performance and audience reach. **Key Features:** - Search ads by keyword query or advertiser ID - Filter by European countries or search across all available countries - Specify custom date ranges for ad activity (from October 1, 2022 onwards) - Sort results by various criteria including last shown date, published date, or audience reach - Access detailed ad information including video content, audience estimates, and performance metrics - Support for pagination using next_page_token

- **Tool id:** `searchapi-io-tiktok-ads-library`
- **Provider:** [SearchAPI.io](/providers/searchapi-io)
- **Job:** [Tiktok ads library search](/reference/jobs/search-tiktok-ads-library) (`search.tiktok-ads-library`)
- **Price:** $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `advertiser_id` | string | no |   |
| `advertiser_token` | string | no |   |
| `country` | string | no |   |
| `engine` | string | no | Fixed to "tiktok_ads_library" for this endpoint. Example: "tiktok_ads_library" |
| `next_page_token` | string | no |   |
| `q` | string | no |   |
| `sort_by` | string | no |   |
| `time_period` | string | no |   |

## Output

The run's `result` holds the provider's answer. Signed in, `looot inspect searchapi-io-tiktok-ads-library` prints its fields.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-tiktok-ads-library","input":{"engine":"tiktok_ads_library"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
```

```python Python
import requests
To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send `job:search.tiktok-ads-library` as `endpointId`; see [the job page](/reference/jobs/search-tiktok-ads-library).
