The Meta Ad Library Page Info API retrieves detailed information about a Facebook page from the Meta Ad Library. It returns page metadata including name, category, likes, verification status, confirmed page owner, transparency info (creation date, name changes, admin locations), Instagram details, related pages, and ad spend data. **Cross-linking**: The `page_id` parameter can be obtained from the Meta Ad Library Page Search API (search pages by name) or from ads returned by the Meta Ad Library API. To retrieve the ads run by a page, pass the same `page_id` to the Meta Ad Library API.

- **Tool id:** `searchapi-io-meta-ad-library-page-info`
- **Provider:** [SearchAPI.io](/providers/searchapi-io)
- **Job:** [Meta ad library page info search](/reference/jobs/search-meta-ad-library-page-info) (`search.meta-ad-library-page-info`)
- **Price:** $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `engine` | string | no | Fixed to "meta_ad_library_page_info" for this endpoint. Example: "meta_ad_library_page_info" |
| `page_id` | string | yes |   |

## Output

Shape of the run's `result`, checked against 1 real answer:

```txt
{ page: { id, url, name, about: { text }, confirmed_page_owner: { id, name, information: { ... } }, shared_disclaimer_info: { shared_disclaimer_pages: unknown[] }, pages_transparency_info: { id, history_items: { ... }[], admin_locations: { ... } }, is_delegate_page_with_linked_primary_profile }, search_metadata: { id, status, html_url, json_url, created_at, request_url, total_time_taken, parsing_time_taken, request_time_taken }, search_parameters: { engine, page_id }, ad_library_page_info: { page_info: { likes, page_id, page_name, hidden_ads, page_alias, entity_type, ig_username, ig_followers,... ...
```

The shape is cut here. Signed in, `looot inspect searchapi-io-meta-ad-library-page-info` prints all of it.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

<CodeGroup>

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-meta-ad-library-page-info","input":{"page_id":"<page_id>","engine":"meta_ad_library_page_info"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
```

```python Python
import requests
response = requests.post(
    "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs",
    headers={
        "Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['LOOOT_TOKEN']}",
run = response.json()
print(run["status"], run.get("result"))
To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send `job:search.meta-ad-library-page-info` as `endpointId`; see [the job page](/reference/jobs/search-meta-ad-library-page-info).
