The Bing Videos API allows you to search for video content across the web using the Bing search engine. This API provides access to video results with metadata including titles, durations, sources, view counts, and thumbnails. **Cross-linking**: The video IDs and URLs returned by this API can be used with other APIs to fetch additional information. Video links lead to the source platform where the video is hosted (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).

- **Tool id:** `searchapi-io-bing-videos`
- **Provider:** [SearchAPI.io](/providers/searchapi-io)
- **Job:** [Bing videos search](/reference/jobs/search-bing-videos) (`search.bing-videos`)
- **Price:** $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Output

The run's `result` holds the provider's answer. Signed in, `looot inspect searchapi-io-bing-videos` prints its fields.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-bing-videos","input":{"q":"<q>","engine":"bing_videos"},"wait":30}'

To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send `job:search.bing-videos` as `endpointId`; see [the job page](/reference/jobs/search-bing-videos).
