The BestBuy Product API returns rich product detail for any BestBuy SKU, title, brand, full specifications, customer rating with optional syndicated reviews, complete image gallery, dimensions, open-box pricing tiers, member savings, installment plans, and more. **Cross-linking**: The `product_id` parameter accepts a BestBuy SKU. You can obtain SKUs from the BestBuy Search API (the `product_id` field in `organic_results`) or from any BestBuy product URL, for example, in `https://www.bestbuy.com/site/-/6667474.p?skuId=6667474` the SKU is `6667474`.

- **Tool id:** `searchapi-io-bestbuy-product`
- **Provider:** [SearchAPI.io](/providers/searchapi-io)
- **Job:** [Bestbuy product search](/reference/jobs/search-bestbuy-product) (`search.bestbuy-product`)
- **Price:** $0.004 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `engine` | string | no | Fixed to "bestbuy_product" for this endpoint. Example: "bestbuy_product" |
| `product_id` | string | yes |   |

## Output

Shape of the run's `result`, checked against 1 real answer:

```txt
{ product: { link, brand, price, title, images: { link, title, alt_text }[], rating, seller: { id, name }, reviews, brand_id, discount, variants: { bsin, image, value, option_type }[], condition, thumbnail, dimensions: { depth, width, height, weight }, product_id, what_it_is: string[], description, installment: { months, cost_per_month, extracted_months, extracted_cost_per_month }, short_title, model_number, release_date, buying_options: { link, type }[], classification: { class, class_id, subclass, department, subclass_id, department_id }, member_savings: { non_paid }, original_price, specifi... ...
```

The shape is cut here. Signed in, `looot inspect searchapi-io-bestbuy-product` prints all of it.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"searchapi-io-bestbuy-product","input":{"product_id":"<product_id>","engine":"bestbuy_product"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
