Retrieves detailed information about a specific Facebook ad by its ID or URL. Returns adArchiveID, pageName, isActive, startDate, endDate, and a snapshot containing body, images, videos, display_format, link_url, and cta_text. Regulated ads may also include source-dependent aaa_info using the structure shown below. Political and social issue delivery data is normalized to location_audience and age_country_gender_reach_breakdown. Political location_audience rows include reach, and political delivery values are fractional shares, so 0.08 means 8%. Regional transparency data may use absolute reach counts. For ads with multiple versions, the ad creative is found in the snapshot.cards array rather than snapshot.body. Send one of: id, url.

- **Tool id:** `scrapecreators-facebook-adlibrary-ad`
- **Provider:** [ScrapeCreators](/providers/scrapecreators)
- **Job:** [Ad facebook adlibrary](/reference/jobs/facebook-adlibrary-ad) (`facebook.adlibrary.ad`)
- **Price:** $0.00188 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `cache_max_age` | string | no | Example: "7d" |
| `id` | string | no | |
| `trim` | boolean | no | Example: "false" |
| `url` | string | no | Example: "https://www.facebook.com/ads/library?id=1185617869915074" |

## Output

The run's `result` holds the provider's answer. Signed in, `looot inspect scrapecreators-facebook-adlibrary-ad` prints its fields.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.
