Lists top-level comments on a TikTok post (video) by awemeId, cursor-paginated. Use it to read audience reaction to a public post.

- **Tool id:** `justoneapi-tiktok-post-comment`
- **Provider:** [Just One API](/providers/justoneapi)
- **Job:** [Comments tiktok post](/reference/jobs/tiktok-post-comments) (`tiktok.post.comments`)
- **Price:** $0.0149 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `awemeId` | string | yes | The unique ID of the TikTok post (awemeId). |
| `cursor` | string | no | Pagination cursor. Start with "0", then pass back the cursor value returned in the previous response. |

## Output

Shape of the run's `result`, checked against 1 real answer:

```txt
{ code, data: { extra: { now, api_debug_info, fatal_item_ids }, total, cookie, cursor, log_pb: { impr_id }, comments: { cid, text, user: { ... }, status, no_show, aweme_id, reply_id, sort_tags, thread_id, author_pin, digg_count, image_list, label_list, share_info: { ... }, text_extra: unknown[], create_time, fold_status, user_buried, user_digged, collect_stat, reply_comment, stick_position, thread_has_more, trans_btn_style, comment_language, is_author_digged, sort_extra_score: { ... }, reply_to_reply_id, reply_comment_total, allow_download_photo, comment_post_item_ids, text_to_image_item_ids, ... ...
```

The shape is cut here. Signed in, `looot inspect justoneapi-tiktok-post-comment` prints all of it.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

<CodeGroup>

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"justoneapi-tiktok-post-comment","input":{"awemeId":"<awemeId>","cursor":"<cursor>"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    "Idempotency-Key": crypto.randomUUID(),
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    endpointId: "justoneapi-tiktok-post-comment",
    input: {
      awemeId: "<awemeId>",
      cursor: "<cursor>",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
```

```python Python
import os
import uuid
import requests
response = requests.post(
    "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs",
    headers={
        "Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['LOOOT_TOKEN']}",
        "Idempotency-Key": str(uuid.uuid4()),
    },
    json={
        "endpointId": "justoneapi-tiktok-post-comment",
        "input": {
            "awemeId": "<awemeId>",
            "cursor": "<cursor>",
        },
        "wait": 30,
    },
    timeout=90,
)
run = response.json()
print(run["status"], run.get("result"))
```

To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send `job:tiktok.post.comments` as `endpointId`; see [the job page](/reference/jobs/tiktok-post-comments).
