Finds ads in the Meta ad library by keyword. Send keyword, optional country_code; continuation_token pages results. Returns number_of_ads, ad_type, media_types, platform and active_status.

- **Tool id:** `adyntel-facebook-ad-search`
- **Provider:** [Adyntel](/providers/adyntel)
- **Job:** [Search the Meta ad library](/reference/jobs/ads-meta-search) (`ads.meta.search`)
- **Price:** $0.00642 per call. A call that fails at the provider costs $0.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `all_ads` | boolean | no | Return all ads (auto-paginate) |
| `continuation_token` | string | no | Token for paginating through results |
| `country_code` | string | no | To limit results to one specific country |
| `keyword` | string | yes | The keyword you want to use in your search |

## Output

Shape of the run's `result`, checked against 1 real answer:

```txt
{ query, ad_type, results: { ad_id, spend, page_id, currency, end_date, fev_info, snapshot: { body: { ... }, cards: { ... }[], event, title, byline, images: { ... }[], videos: { ... }[], caption, page_id, cta_text, cta_type, link_url, page_name, extra_links: string[], extra_texts: { ... }[], is_reshared, extra_images: { ... }[], extra_videos: unknown[], brazil_tax_id, display_format, additional_info, branded_content: { ... }, ec_certificates: unknown[], page_categories: string[], page_is_deleted, page_like_count, country_iso_code, disclaimer_label, link_description, page_entity_type, page_prof... ...
```

The shape is cut here. Signed in, `looot inspect adyntel-facebook-ad-search` prints all of it.

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

<CodeGroup>

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"adyntel-facebook-ad-search","input":{"keyword":"<keyword>"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    "Idempotency-Key": crypto.randomUUID(),
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    endpointId: "adyntel-facebook-ad-search",
    input: {
      keyword: "<keyword>",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
```

```python Python
import os
import uuid
import requests
response = requests.post(
    "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs",
    headers={
        "Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['LOOOT_TOKEN']}",
        "Idempotency-Key": str(uuid.uuid4()),
    },
    json={
        "endpointId": "adyntel-facebook-ad-search",
        "input": {
            "keyword": "<keyword>",
        },
        "wait": 30,
    },
    timeout=90,
)
run = response.json()
print(run["status"], run.get("result"))
```

To let looot pick among every provider of this job instead, send `job:ads.meta.search` as `endpointId`; see [the job page](/reference/jobs/ads-meta-search).
