List a YouTube channel's videos.

Job id `youtube.channel.videos`, in [Social data](/catalog/social) (YouTube). As of 2026-10-01, 4 providers serve it through 4 tools. Run `job:youtube.channel.videos` and looot picks one of them; with `fallback` on, a miss moves on to the next. See [Jobs](/concepts/jobs).

## Inputs

Fields the job's tools take, most shared first. Any key you send passes through unchanged.

| Name | Type | Taken by | Required by | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `channel_id` | string | 2 of 4 | 2 | Channel ID |
| `channel` | string | 1 of 4 | 1 | YouTube channel URL, alias, or ID. Example: "@phenomenal_es" |
| `channelId` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | YouTube channel ID. |
| `continuation_token` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | Pagination token for next page |
| `continuationToken` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | Continuation token to get more videos. Get 'continuationToken' from previous response. |
| `count` | integer | 1 of 4 | 0 | Max number of videos to fetch |
| `country_code` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | Country code |
| `engine` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | Fixed to "youtube_channel_videos" for this endpoint. Example: "youtube_channel_videos" |
| `gl` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 |   |
| `handle` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | YouTube channel handle. |
| `hl` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 |   |
| `includeExtras` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | This will get you the like + comment count and the description. To get the full details of the video, use the /v1/youtube/video endpoint. Honestly, if you use this param, the error rate is higher. We might deprecate this param in the future. Example: "false" |
| `is_paid_promotions` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | Set to 'true' to search YouTube's public paid product placement / sponsorship / endorsement search surface. This returns normal YouTube videos where the creator declared paid promotion. Cannot be combined with filter, uploadDate, sortBy, type, duration, or includeExtras. Example: "false" |
| `language_code` | string | 1 of 4 | 0 | Language code |
| `need_format` | boolean | 1 of 4 | 0 | Whether to clean and format the data |

## Providers and prices

| Provider | Tool | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [TikHub](/providers/tikhub) | [`tikhub-api-youtube-web-v2-get-channel-videos`](/reference/tools/tikhub-api-youtube-web-v2-get-channel-videos) | $0.001 per call |
| [ScrapeCreators](/providers/scrapecreators) | [`scrapecreators-youtube-channel-videos`](/reference/tools/scrapecreators-youtube-channel-videos) | $0.00188 per call |
| [Anysite](/providers/anysite) | [`anysite-api-youtube-channel-videos`](/reference/tools/anysite-api-youtube-channel-videos) | $0.0036 per call |
| [SearchAPI.io](/providers/searchapi-io) | [`searchapi-io-youtube-channel-videos`](/reference/tools/searchapi-io-youtube-channel-videos) | $0.004 per call |

A call that fails at the provider costs $0. See [What's free](/money/free-and-failures).

## Output

Each provider answers in its own shape. Shape of the run's `result` from [`tikhub-api-youtube-web-v2-get-channel-videos`](/reference/tools/tikhub-api-youtube-web-v2-get-channel-videos), the expected shape, not yet checked against real answers:

```txt
{ code, data: { videos: { url, title, is_live, duration, video_id, thumbnail, thumbnails: { ... }[], view_count, description, is_verified, playback_url, published_time, moving_thumbnail, short_view_count, duration_accessibility }[], channel: { id, url, name, avatar, rss_url, keywords, handle_url, description, is_verified, is_family_safe } }, docs, time, params: { channel_id, language_code }, router, message, support, cache_url, time_zone, message_zh, request_id, time_stamp, cache_message, cache_message_zh }
```

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

<CodeGroup>

```bash curl
curl -X POST "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOOT_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"endpointId":"job:youtube.channel.videos","input":{"channel_id":"<channel_id>"},"wait":30}'
```

```js JavaScript
const response = await fetch("https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LOOOT_TOKEN}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    "Idempotency-Key": crypto.randomUUID(),
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    endpointId: "job:youtube.channel.videos",
    input: {
      channel_id: "<channel_id>",
    },
    wait: 30,
  }),
});
const run = await response.json();
console.log(run.status, run.result);
```

```python Python
import os
import uuid
import requests
response = requests.post(
    "https://api.looot.ai/v1/runs",
    headers={
        "Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['LOOOT_TOKEN']}",
        "Idempotency-Key": str(uuid.uuid4()),
    },
    json={
        "endpointId": "job:youtube.channel.videos",
        "input": {
            "channel_id": "<channel_id>",
        },
        "wait": 30,
    },
    timeout=90,
)
run = response.json()
print(run["status"], run.get("result"))
```

</CodeGroup>

To pin one provider, send its tool id as `endpointId` instead of `job:youtube.channel.videos`.
