Technology detections discover technologies.

Job id `discover.technologies.technology-detections`, in [Enrichment](/catalog/enrichment) (Company discovery). As of 2026-10-01, 1 provider serve it through 1 tool. Run `job:discover.technologies.technology-detections` and looot picks one of them; with `fallback` on, a miss moves on to the next. See [Jobs](/concepts/jobs).

## Inputs

This job has one tool, so it takes that tool's fields. Any key you send passes through unchanged.

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `company_location` | string | no | The response will include only results in the given country name or state name/abbreviation. Example: "United States" |
| `first_seen_at_from` | string | no | Only return `TechnologyDetections` first seen after given date (ISO 8601). Example: "2024-09-25" |
| `first_seen_at_until` | string | no | Only return `TechnologyDetections` first seen before given date (ISO 8601). Example: "2024-09-25" |
| `last_seen_at_from` | string | no | Only return `TechnologyDetections` last seen after given date (ISO 8601). Example: "2024-09-25" |
| `last_seen_at_until` | string | no | Only return `TechnologyDetections` last seen before given date (ISO 8601). Example: "2024-09-25" |
| `limit` | integer | no | Limit the number of shown items per page. |
| `page` | integer | no | Page number of shown items. **NOTE**: If the parameter is not provided, the meta property `count` will be omitted from response for performance reasons. |
| `technology_id_or_fuzzy_name` | string | yes | Technology's ID or fuzzy name. |

## Providers and prices

| Provider | Tool | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [PredictLeads](/providers/predictleads) | [`predictleads-discover-technologies-technology-detections`](/reference/tools/predictleads-discover-technologies-technology-detections) | $0.01 per result |

A call that fails at the provider costs $0. See [What's free](/money/free-and-failures).

## Output

Shape of the run's `result`, the expected shape, not yet checked against real answers:

```txt
{ data: { id, type, attributes: { score, last_seen_at, source_count, first_seen_at, behind_firewall }, relationships: { company: { ... }, technology: { ... }, seen_on_subpages: { ... }, seen_on_dns_records: { ... }, seen_on_job_openings: { ... } } }[], meta: { record_state, schema_version }, included: { id, type, attributes: { name } }[] }
```

## Run it

Every call needs your API token in `LOOOT_TOKEN`; [Sign in](/get-started/sign-in#use-the-token-in-scripts-and-agents) shows how to get one. Each run also needs a new idempotency key, so a retry never pays twice. With `wait: 30` the answer comes back inline when the run ends within 30 seconds. Otherwise you get the running run back: poll `GET /v1/runs/<runId>`.

Example input with placeholder values:

To pin one provider, send its tool id as `endpointId` instead of `job:discover.technologies.technology-detections`.
