The looot plugin bundles the looot MCP server, `https://api.looot.ai/mcp`, with seven skills that
walk an agent through the whole flow: sign in, top up, search by job, run with fallback, read the
receipt, and fix errors. Sign-in is OAuth in the browser; no key is stored in the plugin's files.

It works in Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.

The plugin is not yet in a public marketplace. The public repository it will live in doesn't
exist yet, so today it installs from a local path or a private repository. See

An "automatic" skill loads on its own when the agent judges it relevant, from its description. A
"command only" skill loads only when you run its slash command, in Claude Code `/looot:setup`,
`/looot:find-email` or `/looot:research-company`. Every skill is also available as a slash command
inside Claude Code, since Claude Code turns each skill into a command automatically.

## Token cost

`claude plugin details looot` reports about 490 tokens always on for the plugin's own metadata,
plus 170 to 1,100 tokens for whichever skill fires. An automatic skill only adds its tokens to the
context when it actually loads, not on every turn.

## Server name inside Claude Code

The plugin registers the MCP server as `plugin:looot:looot`. If you already added looot yourself
with `claude mcp add`, remove that entry (`claude mcp remove looot`) so the tools don't load
twice.
